CD5K goes back a lonnnnng way, he has had many forms before the one you see on here. He came to fruition when me and the ladies over on the Turtles Unite Skype group, came across the 2016 turtle statues which travelled across the globe. Donnie of course looked like the love child of kermit the frog and the shining, so it became a joke among us that he looked creepy. It eventually led to me - as a practical joker i am- editing his head and superimposing it onto selfie shots of my friends, of course it went down not so well, since he looked so scary! Over time this developed further to actually editing his face onto everything and everything for a joke, nothing were safe from the creeper.

Of course it got better, as the TMNT 2016 film loomed closer,  Paramount released a competition, giving the masses highly cgified renderings of the brothers, to use as reference material for the art needed. Of course the pose of Don were the same pose as the statue, only this time more REAL looking. It was nightmare fuel to say the least!

Eventually i named him CD5K Or Creeper Don 5000, why the 5000? Because the cgi version was the next level compared to the statue, so at the time it seemed fitting. (think on Vegeta saying 'IT'S OVER 9000!!!' then you are there).

 

This sparked a storm of imagery that i edited for my amusements (and others), everything and anything had CD's face on it, It even developed into what was dubbed 'THE RENAISSANCE INVASION' where i had CD5K photo bomb literally the most famous masterpieces in the history of man...yup he did.

 

It was hilarious to look at, but then of course CD5K thirsted for more blood and the 'CD5K INVASION' began, if editing Da Vinci's art weren't enough he went on to edit peoples art, selfies and innocent posts on tumblr (some taking it for what it was,others not so), but again he developed into a character known to be a little shit among the bloggers , mainly infamous for causing mayhem and destruction wherever he walked...or creeped. The best thing about this?  I never intended on CD5K actually becoming a muse with character and soul, since he was made as a joke to troll the masses. Over time i developed him further, giving him a back story (which can be found here. ) and even an AU which is currently in the works.

Moving forward, by chance i one day doodled quick images of the creeper as a cute version, compared to the more sadistic nightmarish incarnation, which is his original form. Honestly if you asked me how i came to make these Doodles, i cannot tell you, it is literally one of them 'it just happened one day' moments. But one thing i can say, is that this style were easy to draw and rested my brain from over thinking on current commissions. It was a warm welcome, and people seemed to enjoy these doodles! So the more i played around with him the more fun it got, people requested hilarious scenes, that even now i still laugh at. I even opened up CD5K Commissions and request weekends because of the popularity he has received (which i'm still floored at btw!)

All in all it has been an amazing ride with this character, and he has become apart of me and my humour, and i enjoy sharing the ideas i have of him, rude or innocent.

I can safely say that little shit just gone got my heart in his hands!
